Quality

Quality and control are of high importance at IDH. The products which are to be blended and packed are subject to strict quality control. This way we are ensured that our clients will recieve an excellent product. The quality control is divided in four stages:

Entry control

Our quality department takes samples of incoming powders daily. These powders are tested for microbiological and chemical parameters. The application characteristics are also tested and compared to the requirements. The samples are stored for 2 years for re-evaluation purposes.

Process control 

At IDH we produce according to the strict conditions of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). This controlling process, derived from EU directives, ensures that the production process is guaranteed of the best food safety. The operators perform a number of tests on product and packaging. We perform additional tests in our own laboratory.

The production and storage areas and surroundings are checked according to a strict schedule for rodents and insects by an external party.

Product control

Semi-finished products and end products are sampled and tested extensively in our laboratory.

Traceability

All products which we use are from certified companies. After processing and packaging they will be labeled with a unique code containing the date of production, batch number and serial number. With this code we can always track our shipments back to the time of production and the used raw materials.

Quality hand book

The rules and procedures are all described in the quality control book of IDH. All our employees are familiar with this book and execute these with precision. We are certified for this quality system.

Audits

The Dutch supervisory authorities and our clients perform audits regularly at our company. IDH wishes to be a transparent organization.

Staff training

Quality has to be ensured by everyone. That is why all IDH employees recieve training once a year.
