Two silo's with a capacity of 60000 liter and a weight of 4.5 ton were removed on wednesday March 11th. The only possible way to remove the silo's, which origin from 1972, was to remove then through the roof.
The operation started around 13.00. A crane lifted the silo's up to 20 meter of the ground,
to be safely placed outside.

At this moment the silo's are pending further transport.
After the removal of both silo's a new separator and further equipment was lifted inside.
This separator is part of the new dedicated mixing line of IDH, which will start producing in week 20. A new step on this historical site where dairy products are being produced for more than 100 years. With this investment IDH can comply to the newest quality regulations for dairy products and human nutrition.
